Terms of Service

Daily Check-In · Effective October 16, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Alzhan Group LLC ("we", "us"), which makes the Daily Check-In app and this website. By using Daily Check-In you agree to them.

What Daily Check-In does

You check in once or more a day by tapping I'm OK. If you miss a check-in, we remind you, and if we still don't hear from you, we alert the people you chose by notification, email, or text, so they can check on you.

Daily Check-In is not an emergency service or a medical alert system. It depends on phones, networks, and other services that can fail or be delayed, and on the people you chose being able to act. In an emergency, call 911.

Your account

Give accurate information, keep your phone and account secure, and only add people who are happy to be contacted. You can delete your account at any time in Menu › Settings › Delete my account.

Plus

Daily Check-In is free. Plus adds extras for $4.99 a month or $39.99 a year, with the first month free. Plus is billed by Apple or Google and renews automatically until you cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions, at least 24 hours before the period ends. Refunds follow Apple's and Google's policies. Free months from "give a month, get a month" end on their own and are never charged.

Text alerts

Program: Daily Check-In text alerts. A person who checks in with Daily Check-In can ask someone they trust to get a text if they miss a daily check-in. The person checking in can also get one backup text when their check-in time passes.

How you sign up: by texting YES with your sign-up code to our number, from the link you were sent or from "Text me too" in the app. We never text a number before its owner has signed up this way. Signing up is optional and not a condition of any purchase.

What we send: a confirmation when you sign up; an alert when the person misses a daily check-in; a message when they're OK again; and, for the person checking in, a reminder when their check-in time passes. No marketing.

How often: message frequency varies. Most months there are none; it depends on missed check-ins.

Cost: message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Acceptable use

Don't use Daily Check-In to contact people who haven't agreed, to harass anyone, to break the law, or to interfere with the service.

No warranty, and limits on liability

Daily Check-In is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for harm from a reminder or alert that was delayed, not delivered, or not acted on. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if you paid nothing.

Changes and ending

We may change these terms; we'll update the date above and tell you in the app if the change matters. We may suspend accounts that misuse the service. You can stop using Daily Check-In at any time.
